I use it for four settings: top row, second pad from left is scroll up the scenes, top row, third pad from left is scroll down. Bottom left is scene launch, and bottom right is master stop. This works FLAWLESSLY since I have all of the pads up to maximum sensitivity for use with my feet (just as pictured next to my pedal board). This one thing is that I have bought a 16-ft usb extender/booster in order to keep the computer back in the stage a bit where it sits with the loop rig so it’s not immediately glaring at the audience. I also set up the sustain pedal and plug it into the “kick drum” input for triggering some 808s and synths sometimes as well.
Hey Kyle,
How do you use your Alesis pad with Live? I’ve been looking at getting one recently. And do you use it with your feet?
